About Jacqueline Ayers

Jacqueline Ayers was born and raised in Southern Ontario, Canada on the outskirts of Toronto, but now calls Thunder Bay, Ontario her home. She earned a B.A in Canadian History from Trent University in Peterborough, Ontario and a B.Ed from York University in Toronto.

Ms. Ayers spent 25 years in the field of Education, becoming a Specialist in Special Education, a Specialist in Religion as well as earning a Principal Certification before deciding that it was time for a much needed change. In 2014, she packed it all in, said goodbye to the world of Education and moved into the world of Finance.

However, it was during a conversation with a friend that Ms. Ayers decided that it was also time to focus on her dream of publishing her written works, including, a collection of poems,  a series of children's books and a few, as yet unnamed, sequels to "A Matter of Wife or Debt."

Ms. Ayers, has three amazing grown children living their best lives in western Canada and five wonderful grandchildren, who's names have found a place in all of her books.

In her spare time, she loves to hike the various trails and parks that surround the magnificent Lake Superior with her lovingly adorable partner and their two puppies; an ornery, "too smart for his own good,"  West Highland Terrier named Finnegan, and a "never misses an opportunity for a treat" Havanese named Charley.
